Calling young Olympians!

Are you ready to do a Fit in Kit challenge for Hounds For Heroes and have some fun?

We have put together some fun and healthy challenge ideas that you can do with your friends at school, in your youth club, your scout group or cadet corps.

So get started and raise money for Hounds For Heroes..

Jump to it for Hounds For Heroes!For teachers & youth leaders

The idea is to create teams of team of 4/5 people - who ever is the fastest wins.

Teachers and youth leaders, we can provide rosettes and medals for the children taking part, please email us at with the amount of rosettes and medals you require!

All we ask is that your group raises a minimum of £25 (for up to 20 rosettes) and £50 (for up to 20 medals) to cover the cost and packaging.



for 8yr old: 1km

for 10yr old: 2km

for 12yr old: 3km


run to the end of the field or gym hall, tap the next team member to run to other end etc.

repeat 4 times for each team member with these different exercises:

  • shuttle run with dribbling a ball

  • followed by 5 x starjumps for each member


  • shuttle run with skipping

  • followed by 5 x lunges for each member


  • shuttle run with hurdles

  • followed by 5 x squats for each member


  • shuttle run with hockey stick & ball

  • followed by 5 x starjumps for each member
